Actor and singer Janno Gibbs is no longer in the cast of the Philippine adaptation of the hit South Korean movie, “Miracle in Cell No. 7”.
Originally, Gibbs was cast to become one of the prison inmates with Aga Muhlach.
According to entertainment columnist Nitz Miralles, Gibbs was among the actors mentioned by Viva Films founder Vic del Rosario who will star the film along with John Arcilla, Ronnie Lazaro, and Mark Anthony Fernandez.
Recently, actor JC Santos shared a group photo of him, Joel Torre, Soliman Cruz, Jojit Lorenzo, and Mon Confiado together with lead star Muhlach.
No word was known yet why Gibbs and the original casts were replaced.
According to a separate entertainment column by Jun Lalin, Gibbs is currently with the Viva Artists Agency.
His “handler” Mhit Pimentel said the actor is also scheduled with several projects like “Last Woman Standing” with Viva, “Sari-Sari” and “Mang Jose” movie with Director Dan Villegas.
In his Instagram post, Gibbs, who just turned 50 last week, posted a photo of him visiting the Viva Artists Agency. “Thankful for all the opportunities,” he wrote in his caption. (Photo credit: Janno Gibbs Instagram account)
