Comedian Chokoleit is set to be cremated and buried at Davao Memorial Park on Sunday, March 17.
Chokoleit’s half-brother Gerald Tabanag said in an online interview with PEP.ph that he and his siblings have been assisting for the comedian’s burial.
The comedian’s wake at the Cosmopolitan Funeral Homes in Davao City, Davao del Sur started on March 15 after his remains were transferred from Antipolo City.
According to earlier reports, Chokoleit was supposed to be cremated and his ashes will be brought to his home in Town and Country Homes in Cainta, Rizal.
However, the original plans changed and his ashes will be buried at Davao Memorial Park around 2:00 PM today.
Chokoleit passed away on March 9 after performing at an event in Abra.
He experienced difficulty in breathing and later succumbed to heart attack and pulmonary edema.
