KZ Tandingan is ready to get her fans and audiences hyped up and ‘KZfied’ as she prepares together with her team for the upcoming “Supreme: KZ Tandingan Concert in Dubai” happening this coming March 22 at the Dubai World Trade Centre Arena.
During the Digital Press Conference organized by La Verdad Events Management at the Datu Club, Sofitel Downtown in Dubai streamed live with the Wish 107.5 bus in the Philippines last March 4, KZ confirmed that this will be the first international leg of her Supreme World Tour which saw performances in the Philippines in Manila and Cebu.
“Expect niyo na hindi lang kayo manonood, you will be involved in the concert kasi ganun kami mag show. We want the audiences to really be involved in the show. We want them to sing with us, bumababa ako sa mga tao and I choose random people para makapag duet so sobrang excited kami na makasamang kumanta ang mga Pilipino dyan sa Dubai. And of course, new songs na namin sa Supreme Live,” said KZ.
Special song dedicated for Filipino expats
KZ shared that if there’s one song that she would dedicate for Filipino expats, it would be one of her favorite songs, her rendition of “Wag Ka Nang Umiyak”. “My favorite song, isa sa mga pinakapaborito kong kanta na sobrang honored ako na binigyan ako ng pagkakataon na kantahin – “Wag ka nang umiyak”. Kasi lalong lalo na sa mga kapamilya natin nanag ta-trabaho out of the country, alam mo yung if only they had better opportunities dito sa Philippines di naman nila iiwan ang pamilya nila e,” said KZ.
Asia’s Soul Supreme furthers that the song represents that one person who will always be there for you no matter what happens and that it’s an honor for her to make OFWs feel that they’re back home, even for just a few hours: “Kelangan alam ng mga kapamilya natin dyan na nagta-trabaho out of the country na naiintindihan namin yung paghihirap nila, na naiintindihan namin yung lahat ng pagsasakripisyo na ginagawa nila para lang makapag provide sa mga pamilya nila. Lahat ng birthdays, graduations, lahat ng importanteng milestones na hindi nila na wi-witness kasi inuuna nilang mag provide para sa family nila. So yun siguro – every time they feel like they’re down, feeling that they miss their families – yun na, Wag ka nang umiyak, hinding hindi kita bibitawan.”
A Special Show for the Dubai Crowd
For her upcoming concert here in Dubai, KZ promises that the concert will be filled with surprises that will surely leave the audiences in awe: “For the Dubai show, every show meron kaming iba-ibang line up na binabagay namin sa mga tao. So merong mga kanta na same pa rin but it will never be the same experience.
“We are all very excited to perform for all of you sa March 22, 2019 dyan sa Dubai World Trade Centre – abangan niyo yung mga inihanda namin para sa inyo, especially for you,” said KZ.
The concert, organized by La Verdad Events Management, will be taken to the next level with performances from singer-songwriter TJ Monterde and R&B singer Jay-R.
