The memorial inauguration for the United Arab Emirates founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, will be held on Monday, January 22, 2018 in Abu Dhabi.
The inauguration will also be broadcasted on major TV channels and online for anticipators who won’t be able to watch it personally.
In the order of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, authorities will unveil the monumental artwork and centerpiece of the site.
The founder’s memorial aims to share people the life, legacy, and values of the prominent leader.
The founder’s memorial site, which is more than three hectares of land, is set to be opened to the public in spring of this year.
