A vehicle blazed through the Sheikh Zayed Road after the fourth bridge on its way to Abu Dhabi.
Reports from the Dubai Police state that traffic congestion is expected and advised motorists to take alternative roads for the meantime.
“#TrafficUpdate | Traffic congestion due to vehicle fire #accident on SZ Rd after the fourth bridge towards Abu Dhabi, kindly take extra cautious & alternative ways,” tweeted Dubai Police.
Authorities remind the public to be extra cautious and to always check their vehicle conditions, specifically their tires, citing that the rise in temperatures in the region may cause more significant wear and tear to their vehicles.
