Dubai Tourism issued a circular extending the closure of hotels, restaurants, and event venues in the emirate until further notice.
The Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing on April 14 released the circular to tour operators, hotel establishments and event organizers.
The closure covers all entertainment activities such as bar, pubs, lounges, shisha services.
The list also includes cafes, pools and private beaches along with fitness and health centers.
The move is in line with the precautionary measures taken by Dubai government to ensure the health and safety of its residents and visitors amid the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
“Dubai Tourism will continuously evaluate the situation in coordination with health authorities,” the circular read.
