Senator Bong Go has placed himself under quarantine after being exposed to ACT-CIS partylist representative Eric Yap who tested positive for the coronavirus disease or COVID-19.
“We are currently initiating contact tracing, particularly to those who attended the meeting I attended on last Saturday,” Go said in a statement.

He said that he doesn’t feel any symptoms for the disease and has been extremely busy working these past few days.
“Puro po ako trabaho noong mga nakaraang araw. Wala naman po ako naramdaman na sintomas ng sakit. But since the protocol requires those people who were exposed with persons positive for COVID-19, I have no choice but to comply,” Go added.

Go said that he will still continue to do his duties even he’s in quarantine.
It’s unclear though if President Rodrigo Duterte will also undergo quarantine because of his close interaction with Go recently.
