President Rodrigo Duterte will not undergo self-quarantine despite his close contact with Health Secretary Francisco Duque.
On Thursday, Duque announced that he will be in self-isolation because he was exposed with a person who tested positive for the coronavirus disease or COVID-19.

Duque was with Duterte when the President announced the enhanced community quarantine in Luzon last Monday.
The health official said he is currently working from home and feels no symptoms. He also got tested for the virus.
Senator Bong Go said that Duterte will not undergo self quarantine but will be closely monitored by his doctors.

Both Go and Duterte underwent COVID-19 testing last week after some cabinet officials were exposed to a person who tested positive for COVID-19.
Go and Duterte revealed that they tested negative for the virus.
