Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte has confirmed that his brother and Vice Mayor Sebastian “Baste” Duterte has been considered as a person under monitoring (PUM).
In a report by Radyo Pilipinas Davao, it said that Baste is having fever, cough, and sore throat.
Mayor Duterte told reporters that her brother has no travel history to any infected countries or even recently in Manila but he insisted to be placed as a PUM so he could be assured that he does not have the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
However, Mayor Sara discouraged him to get tested yet since the testing kits are not enough.
As if press time, Vice Mayor Baste is on self-quarantine in his home.
The Davao City Mayor has also advised the public to stay at home if they experience any sickness.
