Emirati businessman donates over Dh200,000 to over 160 poor patients

An Emirati businessman has donated a huge sum of money for the treatment of about 164 poor patients in the UAE, Khaleej Times reported.
The patients were able to receive the necessary treatment from Sheikh Khalifa Speciality Hospital after Khalid Abdullah Yusuf donated around Dh220,000 to pay for their entire medical expenses.
According to Yusuf, he is just following the example of the late Founding Father of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

“This is the least anyone committed to his country, people, and the principle giving imparted by the late Founding Father of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, can do,” Khaleej Times quoted Yusuf as saying.
The patients and their relatives expressed their sincere gratitude to Yusuf for his kind gesture, with one of them saying the money ended their family’s suffering.
“We are so grateful to this kind man for his exceptionally kind heart,” he said.
