Coronavirus death toll surges to 910

China reported 97 fatalities from novel coronavirus bringing the death toll to 910, as the country rushed to develop a vaccine against the disease.
National Health Commission recorded 3,062 confirmed cases by the end of February 9, according to Global Times.
Hubei province, the epicenter of the outbreak, recorded 91 deaths and 2,618 confirmed cases in the past 24 hours.
The number of confirmed cases has surged to 40,711.
There are two deaths reported outside China, one in Hong Kong and the Philippines
