The Hong Kong Consulate General has confirmed that another Filipina domestic worker in Hong Kong is in quarantine after her employer tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
Hong Kong Consul General Raly Tejada said that the OFW is in isolation in Hong Kong and not showing any symptoms of the deadly virus, as per a report from CNN Philippines.

“Most importantly, she is not a patient, but just a confinee. She is healthy and we hope she remains so,” he told CNN Philippines.
The worker is now in a quarantine camp and will stay there for 14 days for close monitoring.
Tejada said she will not be tested for coronavirus infection, but her temperature will be taken daily in line with Hong Kong’s strict protocol.

“If she shows symptoms within the quarantine period, she will be sent to the hospital for a follow-up treatment. If not, she would be allowed to leave,” the Consul General added.
Hong Kong has at least 18 2019-nCoV cases, with one death confirmed on Tuesday.
