A security guard tried to stop a group of armed men from robbing a mini-mart in Laguna.
The incident was recorded from a CCTV camera in which a security guard of a Chinese mini-mart in Biñan, Laguna bravely fought one of the robbers who pointed a gun right towards him on Dec 25, in a report by GMA News’ 24 Oras.
The guard charged towards the robber to grab his gun.
He only retreated when the two companions of the robbers came into the scene.
According to Biñan City Police chief Police Lieutenant Colonel Danilo Mendoza said there were policemen patrolling on that area however the robbers waited for the right moment to rob the mini-store.
Mondoza also said the police will conduct a thorough investigation of the incident and asked for cooperation from the management.
The management of the establishment has yet to make any statements about the incident.
