(WAM) — H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, received on Wednesday, H.E. Hjayceelyn M. Quintana, Ambassador of the Philippines to the UAE.
His Highness welcomed the Philippine Ambassador, wishing her success during her tenure to further advance ties between the UAE and the Philippines.
The two sides highlighted the strong bilateral relations the bind the two countries together.
After the call, Ambassador Quintana was given a briefing about Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) by its Chairman Sheikh Ahmed bin Saqr Al Qasimi. The RAKEZ official expressed interest in collaborating with Philippine entities in the education sector.
When in Ras Al Khaimah, Amb. Quintana also engaged with Filipinos in RAK Hospital and St. Mary’s High School.
