The Summer Capital of the Philippines has set a whopping 11.8°C drop in temperature at 6:00 am on Monday.
The sudden drop in temperature due to the cold spell, which was caused by the northeast monsoon, locally known as ‘hanging Amihan’ as per a report from the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Service Administration (PAG-ASA).
PAG-ASA has advised the public that colder mornings shall be expected for the coming weeks.
