President Rodrigo Duterte took the time to condole with the families of the businessman John Gokongwei Jr. and PAL Holdings, Inc. president Lucio “Bong” Tan Jr.
Senator Bong Go said the President visited their respective wakes at the Heritage Park in Taguig City at 11 p.m. Monday.
In the photos, it was Gokongwei’s son Lance who welcomed the President.
Duterte then moved to the wake of Bong Tan at around 12:30 a.m. Lucio Tan Sr. welcomed him.
Gokongwei passed away at the age of 93 on Sunday while Bong Tan passed away at the age of 53 on Monday.
