Senator Bong Go has someone in mind who can solve the chronic traffic problem in Metro Manila — Superman.
Go said that only a ‘Superman’ can do the trick because the Duterte administration has conceded on easing the commuting burden.
The senator said he does not agree that there is a transportation crisis in Metro Manila insisting that the traffic problem has persisted for a while.
“Matagal na iyan. Hindi natin masasabi na crisis, it’s been there, napakatagal na ang traffic sa Metro Manila,” Go told reporters.
“Ang makaka-solve ng traffic sa Metro Manila, alam mo kung sino? Superman,” he added.
“Si Pangulo hindi nangangako iyan ng hindi niya kayang gawin. Hindi natin ma-solve ito, kaya sinabi ko kanina umuwi na lang tayo sa probinsya. Maluwang pa doon, gumawa na lang tayo ng bagong siyudad,” Go explained. (TN)
