DUBAI: Cassandra Alegre was taken by surprise after finding out that her 5 year-old son went on a shopping spree worth Php5,000 at an online shopping site.
Cassandra shared her story on Facebook last week showing the orders made by her son, Yves, on Shopee.The kid ordered three pieces of the same toy and mini-air conditioning units. Since the site has a cash on delivery option, the kid was able to successfully transact with the site.
Cassandra however discovered that her son put more items on the shopping cart but wasn’t able to check them out. Some of the orders that her son almost purchased were a Vivo smartphone worth more than Php15,000.00. The kid also ordered 59 Ford Ranger toys worth Php13,999.00.
Yves also ordered 40 pieces of the same toy and Nike Jordan shoes.Cassandra felt relieved that Yves wasn’t able to press that check out button, else she will be bound to pay more than Php1 million. (Tristan Nodalo)
