A couple was caught making out in a portion of an Iloilo public park on Saturday.
The Iloilo city government said it will tightly monitor the Iloilo Esplanade to prevent it from becoming a rendezvous of lovers, especially at night.
Authorities said that the lovers were caught at around 8:30PM on Saturday at the esplanade’s dimly light area.
They were told to put on their clothes before bringing them to the police station.
“A concerned jogger alerted the policemen posted at the esplanade about the couple in the portion of the esplanade in Barangay Tabucan,” the police told Panay News.
The man was 29 years old and the girlfriend was 19.
Authorities have reminded the public that the esplanade is not a hotel.
