A Filipina is seeking help to find the relatives of a UAE-based Overseas Filipina Worker who died hours ago due to cardiac arrest.
The deceased OFW who works in Dubai was identified as Auzie Mae Gonzales, 31.
In a Facebook post, her friend Chalouneth Sy said: “Kahapon ang saya saya mo pa nung kausap kita prang wala lang. ‘Yun pala yun na ang huling pagkikita natin.”
Sy narrated that Gonzales’ remains are still at the police station at the time of posting.
She hopes that the news reaches her friend’s relatives in the Philippines so that the remains of the OFW will be repatriated back to the Philippines soonest.
“Sa kamag-anak nya sana po malaman nio na at para maiayos na Dito sa Dubai lahat ng papers nya at makauwi na ang bangkay nya,” said Sy.
As of this posting, the Facebook post has almost 1,000 reactions and comments, and over 6,000 shares.
The Filipino Times has learned that the Philippine Consulate General for Dubai and the Northern Emirates has already reached out to the brother in the Philippines and assured that necessary assistance will be provided to the family.
This is a developing story.
