In its bid to help jobseekers and graduates of vocational courses, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda) will be launching a mobile app aiming to help them find a job.
The target implementation of the mobile app is next month and Tesda hopes to make the app fully operational within the year.
Tesda said an agreement has been made with a third-party developer to create the app.
“It will operate just like a Grab. Yung Grab ‘di ba very convenient for everybody, kapag tinawagan mo yung Grab, kung ano yung taxi na pinakamalapit sa location mo, siya ang ipapadala sa inyo,” Tesda Chief Isidro Lapeña explained during the Kapihan sa Manila Bay media forum.
The mobile app’s pilot area will be in Metro Manila.
