Five expatriates were arrested in two separate incidents by the Capital Governorate Police in Bahrain for possessing and trading alcohol during the holy month of Ramadan, News of Bahrain reported.
The head of Hoora Police Station said they received a tip about the illicit activities of the expats which prompted them to investigate.
Alcohol and other crime-related goods were confiscated.
The cases are now with the Public Prosecution for legal procedures.
