Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi releases further info on Overseas Absentee Voting

The Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi has recently released a statement regarding the upcoming Overseas Absentee Voting (OAV) 2019 set to take place from April 13 to May 13 where all registered voters will be electing 12 senators and one party-list organization representative.

In their efforts to accommodate more than 109,130 land based voters, the Embassy has announced that the voting precincts will be open every day on specific working hours.

Schedule as follows:

April 13: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

April 14 – 17: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

April 18 – 19: Voting suspended

April 20 – May 12, 2019: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

May 13, 2019: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm (6:00 pm Philippine time)

The Philippine Embassy will have six clustered precincts within the premises. The Embassy further advises the public to take advantage of the availability of the precincts especially during the weekdays to avoid congestion during the weekends.
