A Filipino man in San Jose, California was arrested and charged for the murder of his own mother.
The suspect, identified as 25-year-old Michael Ablaza, called 911 after stabbing his own mother, 52-year-old Maribeth, to death, reported Balitang America.
During the call, Ablaza claimed to have only discovered his mother’s dead body, however, further investigation on the case revealed that Ablaza is the suspect for his own mother’s death.
The authorities noted that Ablaza had no emotions when asked about his mother’s death and that forensic evidence show no sign of break-ins.
Ablaza is now in the custody of the police at the Santa Clara county jail without bail.
Ablaza is scheduled for court on February 5.
