A new ferry route in Dubai will be operational starting next week which will allow shoppers to travel from The Dubai Mall to Dubai Marina Mall.
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), in partnership with Emaar Properties, launched the new ferry route which begins at the Dubai Marina ferry station until the Al Wajeha Al Maeyah station, reported Khaleej Times.
From the Al Wajeha Al Maeyah station, a shuttle bus will take shoppers to The Dubai Mall.
The shuttle will also take shoppers from The Dubai Mall to Al Wajeha Al Maeyah station. From there, shoppers can ride a boat to Dubai Marina Mall.
The trip between the two ferry stations lasts for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Tickets can be purchased from the ferry stations or the service desks at The Dubai Mall and Dubai Marina Mall. Tickets can also be bought online at www.burjkhalifa.ae or At the Top in Burj Khalifa.
Tickets are priced at Dh68.25 for adults and Dh52.5 for children aged 5 to 12 years old.
I think this is good for people to enjoy sightseeing but interns of journey duration it is too long…..I know many people are saying that price is high as compared to taxi but they are not taking a note of duration that is AED 68.25 for 1 hour and 20 minutes which is very cheap interms of time frame.
