Sharjah Airport implements new baggage rule

The new baggage rule at the Sharjah Airport is now being implemented by the Sharjah Airport Authority (SAA).

The new rule states that bags should be 75 cm high, 60 cm wide and 90 cm long with at least one level surface.

Among the baggage not allowed at the airport are two items of baggage taped together, usage of loose rope or string, round and irregular shaped baggage, and baggage with long straps. The airport will not be accepting baggage that do not follow the new rules.

SAA said that the new rule would help improve services at the airport and reduce improper baggage handling
