The Abu Dhabi Police reminded motorists to always keep a safe distance between vehicles to avoid traffic accidents.
In a video uploaded by the Police, a traffic build-up in a highway in Abu Dhabi led to a crash that sent one of the vehicles in the air. In the video, the vehicle is seen swerving on the road’s leftmost lane before hitting the side of another vehicle in front of it.
The video underscores the importance of keeping a safe distance between vehicles and making sure that vehicles run in a safe speed.
The video uploaded by the Police is a part of the authorities’ #YourComment initiative which was launched earlier this year.
Under this campaign, motorists are urged to provide their comments and suggestions as to how vehicular accidents could be avoided.
The authorities are also uploading videos of real-life motorist violations of traffic rules to raise awareness.
