OFW from Middle East who returned to PH gets murdered by husband

An overseas Filipino worker from Kuwait who recently returned to the Philippines was stabbed to death by her own husband on Sunday afternoon.

Authorities said the the OFW, name withheld, returned home to Isabela, Negros Occidental on September 21, reported ABS-CBN News.

The OFW was reportedly a victim of domestic violence that is why she decided to work abroad.

She initially stayed at her parents home when she returned to the Philippines then decided to go to his husband’s house to visit her two children on Sunday.

Upon seeing her wife, the husband immediately attacked the OFW before stabbing her not less than three times, authorities said.

The report stated that jealousy is the suspected motive behind the crime.

Authorities are still searching for the suspect who went into hiding after committing the murder.
