The Abu Dhabi Department of Transport has announced the development of 100 new air-conditioned bus shelters which are being built across the city. The new bus shelters are equipped with intelligent devices, including a QR code side panel that enables connection to the DOT bus routes and timetables. They also include machines that commuters can use to top-up their Hafilat bus travel cards. The DOT reported 23 of them have been completed. (MRBG)
