WhatsApp messenger is reportedly developing a dark mode feature for its users.
This is according to a tweet posted by WABetaInfo.

The dark mode reduces the strain in the eyes and it can also save battery life while even when the app is running.
Among the apps and websites which added the feature is YouTube, enabling the video to be highlighted from the dark screen.
WhatsApp is also working on making the swipe-to-reply feature in Android phones. This will allow users to reply by swiping messages to the right. The messenger has enabled this feature in iOS systems in its previous versions.
In its most updated version, an expandable group participants list is also added. When there are more than 10 participants, WhatsApp shows a More button that will show all the participants in the group chat.
