Authorities barred a Korean national from boarding his flight to South Korea for bringing a gun and two packets of shabu at the Clark International Airport.
Police detected the gun and the packets of shabu, worth Php70,000, inside Hoseop Yoon’s baggage, reported GMA News.
The passenger could not explain why he had the items inside his baggage due to language barrier.
Investigation is underway while Yoon’s return to South Korea was put on hold.
If proven guilty, he could face charges for violating Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act and Illegal Possession of Firearms.
