Filipinos in Ras Al Khaimah and its neighboring emirates will be celebrating Philippine Independence Day Friday, July 6, 2018 to be graced by Consul General Paul Raymund Cortes as well as various community and church leaders.
The event will happen at Rak Mall, 2nd floor from 2:30pm to 9:00pm.
This will be the 2nd PID celebration in Ras Al Khaimah. It will commence with a parade at the mall which will be joined by the di erent RAK communities and guests.
There will be three main activities:
• Tinig Handog sa Kalayaan 2018 (Kids Edition from 6 to 12 years old) and (Adult Edition for 13 years old and above).
• INDAK PINOY 2018, a group dance contest.
• GUHIT PINOY 2018, on-the-spot poster making contest for kids of 8 to 15 years old. The participants of these contests are all from Ras Al Khaimah. Cash Prizes, trophies and gifts are at stake for the winners and consolation prizes.
There will also be song and dance numbers from CFC Rak Chorale, PULSO Band, BathSpa University Dancers, Nefertiti Zumba Dance Group – RAK and Rak ABLAZE. We also have our guests performers – The The Twisted Harmony Dancers from Dubai and Ramoul Ibanez.
Of course, the pride of Ras Al Khaimah will once again be heard to share his music: Champion of Dubai Dubai Musikahan 2, Mr. Ralph Maligro and his contest interpreter Pepito Comanda Jr.
Raffle draws, Roleta ng Kapalaran and other parlor games will be all over the place for everyone.
