It is going to be a hot day in the UAE today, June 7, the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) announced.
In its official Twitter account, the NCM said weather will be hot in general during daytime, adding that there is a possibility that clouds will form over the eastern mountains, which may become convective towards the afternoon.
The NCM also advised the public about light to moderate winds which can cause blowing dust and poor visibility.
Meanwhile, sea current is anticipated to be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.

The highest recorded temperature in the UAE from 12 midnight to 8 in the morning is at 46.9 °C recorded in Madinat Zayed, while the lowest temperature was pegged at Jais Mountain at 25.6 °C

Meanwhile, in a separate advisory, the NCM announced anticipated weather over the weekend until Monday, June 11.
Weather is seen to be relatively unchanged: hot in the morning and hazy to partly cloudy at times.
