Many job opportunities in the Middle East await job seekers in the upcoming months, according to the latest Bayt.com Middle East Job Index Survey released on Sunday, August 27..
Nearly two-thirds or 64 percent of employers in Middle East countries are eyeing to hire employees in a year’s time, while half or one in two companies are planning to hire in the next three months, the survey said.
Companies are planning to hire Junior Executives (43 percent), Coordinators (27 percent), and Managers (24 percent), according to the online recruitment agency’s biannual study.
Specifically, 37 percent of employers look for candidates with “managerial” experience or those with ability to manage a team.
A good grasp of the English and Arabic language is still seen as an advantage for job hunters with 59 percent of companies listing good communication skills in these two languages as the top skill they are looking for in a candidate.
Results of the survey was based on a sample collected online of 1,474 respondents from UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia.
