Yas Mall stores’ cash registers were ringing on the first day of Eid Al Fitr as its first discount campaign drew around 250,000 shoppers.
Tourists in Yas Island were among those who flocked to the mall in Abu Dhabi, a leading entertainment and shopping destination located in the heart of the island.
Saoud Khoory, General Manager of Yas Mall, said the huge turnout of shoppers and visitors highlighted the special position of Abu Dhabi as a leading entertainment and shopping destination, and also as a leading commercial centre in the capital.
Some 340 stores in the mall participated in the discount campaign.
