DUBAI: LBC Express, Inc., the world’s leading courier and cargo solutions provider to the Philippines, is aiming to further assist Filipinos through its processing service of documents required in the UAE. With this new service, LBC provides Filipinos a hassle-free way of having their official documents authenticated by the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs.
These include National Statistics Office (NSO) documents, school records, Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) certification, and National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) clearances. Filipinos in the UAE can now submit the complete documents at various LBC branches or Smart Shelter locations and await LBC’s advice for the pickup of their authenticated legal papers. The service can also be arranged by dropping off requests at the designated box in the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai.
The document processing services of LBC assist Filipinos in complying with UAE requirements for employment application and processing. The UAE Ministry of Labor requires authenticated diplomas or educational certificates in the processing of employment documents for Skill Level 1 professionals who have Bachelor’s Degree (University Degree) or higher qualification.
This is applicable for jobs categories in the following designations: Manager, Engineer, Doctor, Teacher, Accountant, Accounts Clerk, Marketing Specialist, Quantity Surveyor, Draughtsman, Executive Secretary, Pharmacist, Administration Officer, Reservation Officer, Safety Officer, Public Relations Officer, Computer Operator, Advertising Designer, Graphic Arts Draughtsman amongst others. LBC has partnered with the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai to set up a drop box, called “Kabayan Corner”, in the Smart Shelters at RTA bus stops located in various areas across Dubai.
The Kabayan Corner can be found in LBC kiosks located strategically in various Smart Shelters at RTA bus stops across Dubai with high traffic of Filipinos – Satwa, Mankhool, Baniyas, Bur Dubai and Al Rigga.
This initiative, set for the first time in Dubai, provides the 450,000 strong Filipino community in Dubai and the Northern Emirates an opportunity to direct their concerns to Consul General Paul Raymund Cortes through a letter or email. Letters, handed in the LBC kiosks located in the Smart Shelters at RTA bus stops as well as LBC branches, will be delivered to the Philippine Consulate General on a weekly basis.
