Eat Bulaga’s JoWaPao trio would be back to make us laugh very soon.
According to Wally Bayola in an interview with Coconuts Manila and other members of the press during the PEP List Awards 2016 on Sunday, August 21, Paolo Ballesteros will return to Eat Bulaga very soon. He even speculated a time frame, which is the last week of August or September. But he also added that only the Eat Bulaga management can truly confirm the actor’s return.
Paolo, aside from being an online sensation for his makeup transformations on Instagram, is a co-host on Eat Bulaga. He plays Lola Tidora as part of the trio that includes Wally as Lola Nidora and Jose Manalo as Lola Tinidora in the popular “Kalyeserye” segment.
However, since March, Paolo has been absent from the variety show. According to reports, Paolo was suspended from Eat Bulaga after behaving badly during an ad summit in Subic.
Wally had also been suspended from Eat Bulaga from September 2013 to February 2014 after being involved in a scandal. He has long since recovered from the issue, and was even named Male Comedy Star of the Year in the PEP List Awards.
Coconuts Manila quotes Wally who was asked what he had advised his good friend Paolo, “Ang talagang advice lang namin sa isa’t isa: pray lang. Sabi nya sa akin dati, ‘Girl, pray lang.’ So yun din sinabi ko sa kanya. ‘Girl, pray lang. Pray lang talaga. Kung ano in-advice mo sa akin noon, nakatulong ng malaki. Ito rin, ibabalik ko sayo’.”
