World boxing champion and Philippine Sen. Manny Pacquiao simply smiled when asked if he will be facing Floyd Mayweather Jr. in his next fight scheduled next year.
The senator neither confirmed nor denied the possibility during a radio interview on The Kris Fade Show aired over Virgin Radio Dubai.
But will there be a rematch with Mayweather?
In a separate video interview with The National, Pacquiao said Mayweather is giving promoters and the government a hard time with so many demands.
He added that Mayweather should stop doing that.
During his visit to Dubai over the weekend, Pacquiao told reporters at the sidelight that he’s planning to try to make it for next year after Amir Khan expressed interest to fight him.
Pacquiao said he will talk again with him about it. (Elle Sy)
