Fourth repatriation flight brings home 345 Filipinos from UAE

The Philippine government has successfully repatriated 345 Filipino nationals from the United Arab Emirates as part of its ongoing evacuation efforts amid tensions in the Middle East.

The group includes 213 overseas Filipino workers, 58 dependents—including elderly individuals, minors, and pregnant women—and 74 stranded tourists.

The repatriation was carried out through coordinated efforts by the Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi, the Migrant Workers Office, the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, and other government agencies.

Officials said the flight is scheduled to arrive in Manila on March 29, marking another milestone in the government’s continuing efforts to bring Filipinos home safely.

Authorities reaffirmed their commitment to protecting Filipino nationals abroad through a whole-of-government approach as the situation in the region remains volatile.
