The Philippine National Police said that they have yet to see or monitor any serious threats for President Bongbong Marcos’ first State Of the Nation Address (SONA) on Monday, July 25.
PNP spokesperson Police Colonel Jean Fajardo said their intelligence team and other law enforcement agencies are continuously monitoring and validating information on possible attempts to disrupt the SONA.

PNP spokesperson Police Colonel Jean Fajardo said that their intelligence team is continuously monitoring and validating information on any possible disruption efforts.
“As of yesterday sa ating pagpupulong, wala pa po tayong nare-receive na any credible or serious threat pero ganun pa man hindi tayo nagkukumpiyansa,” Fajardo told GMA News.
The PNP said they are not planning to implement signal jamming during the SONA which will be held at the Batasang Pambansa.

Authorities will also be implementing a gun ban ahead of SONA beginning Friday, July 22 until July 27.
The PNP said over 21,000 security forces will be deployed during SONA.
