A slew of guidelines remains in place for the operation of UAE schools.
Here are the region-wise rules:
Dubai
The Knowledge and Development Authority has said that there are no testing requirements.
However, children with symptoms of COVID-19 need to stay off school and undergo PCR tests.
Abu Dhabi
Both the pupil and staff need to maintain green status on the Al Hosn smartphone app which will remain active for 14 days after a negative test for vaccinated pupils aged 16 years and above and 30 days for those under 16.
The other five emirates have yet to announce their plan. The students returned to UAE schools after nearly two years.
