Stranded OFWs at NAIA lament burden of deployment ban to Saudi Arabia

An Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) who went home to attend her son’s funeral is among the more than 460 migrant workers who were stranded at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 due to the deployment ban to Saudi Arabia.

Paano sila magbabayad nyan?,” Bello said in a DZRH interview explaining his decision.

Bello said that Saudi did not release an official order saying that employers will shoulder the cost of the travel requirements.

Paano na kami nito,” another OFW who was stranded at the NAIA Terminal 1 said.
