A lawmaker is urging the government to include the estimated 1.2 million household workers or ‘kasambahays’ nationwide to be part of the priority list in its COVID-19 vaccination program.
Probinsyano Ako Rep. Jose “Bonito” Singson Jr. said that all Filipino workers are now included in the prioritization but household workers were not among them.

He said that house helpers were at risk of contracting COVID-19 infection when they were being set to places like markets, grocery stores and pharmacies.
(TDT)
