As part of the Expo 2020 Young Stars, the students of The Philippine School (TPS) recently held a festive parade at the Expo 2020 Dubai site.
In their 20-minute performance at the Al Wasl Plaza, the Filipino students from TPS in Muhaisnah 2 highlighted the Expo’s main theme and subthemes.
“The Philippine School put on a spectacular show today as part of Expo 2020 Young Stars! From their dazzling outfits to their stunning moves, they lit the Al Wasl Plaza’s stage!” the Facebook page of Expo 2020 Schools highlighted.

In the first segment of the show, the TPS Drum and Lyre Corps presented a variety of classic Filipino songs, reported TPS Insights, a school publication.
The band — which comprised drummers, lyrists, majorettes, and color guards – also played entertaining music from different countries.
The TPS Dance Troupe, in the second segment of the show, showcased elements of the Maskara Festival, one of the biggest events in the Philippines.

“The Expo 2020 Young Stars Program is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our students to showcase their multifaceted talents in multitudinous aspects,” the TPS Insights pointed out.
At the Al Wasl Plaza, students from different schools regularly enthral audience with their unique interpretative performances that celebrate the vision of Expo 2020 Dubai. (AW)
