The nurse who recently went viral on social media after helping a homeless woman in Makati has an amazing story of her own.
Lorraine Pingol gained popularity after she was caught helping a street dweller deliver her baby.
She said she is late for her work and people are still waiting for the rescue team.
“There’s no other person to help them kundi ako…Saka nurse din naman ako. May sinumpaan kami,” she told ABS-CBN news.
The crown of the baby was already visible when she passed by.
Lorraine is currently working in a private company because she could not work in a hospital.
What people didn’t know is that she is also a cancer survivor and is now in remission after battling leukemia.
Meanwhile, the woman and her baby are both in good condition in a hospital.
