The 27-year-old grandson of business tycoon Lucio Tan will be taking over the top post of their family business following the death of his father Lucio Bong Tan Jr.
Lucio ‘Hun Hun’ Tan III will be leading the company after a disclosure was made by the Philippine Stock Exchange.
The Lucio Tan Group Inc. said that Tan III was elected as director of the LT Group, MacroAsia Corporation, PAL Holdings, Philippine Airlines (PAL), and Air Philippines Corporation.
He will also serve as president and chief operating officer of Tanduay Distillers.
The 27-year-old Tan was a Summa Cum Laude from Stanford University in 2015.
He finished a degree in electrical engineering and obtained a master’s degree in Computer Science.
