Filipinos will be in for a spectacular show tonight, June 12, as Dubai Festival City Mall unveils the Philippine flag-inspired IMAGINE show at the Dubai Festival City Mallby 9:00 pm for free.

The show, set to be inaugurated by Consul General Paul Raymund Cortes, marks the first time that the Philippines will be featured on the iconic, award-winning and two-time record-breaking show.

The exclusive show will project some iconic landmarks from the Philippines accompanied by whimsical fountains and lasers lit up with the flags’ red, blue, white and yellow colors choregraphed to popular tunes.

“The Dubai Festival City Mall is dedicated to celebrating life and the people who have been integral to the mall’s success. This is the first time the Dubai Festival Mall is celebrating the Philippines Independence Day, this is done as a token of appreciation to the Filipino community in the UAE. And through this celebration, the Dubai Festival City Mall wanted to offer people a one-of-a-kind experience for free and open to all,” said the company in an announcement

The mystifying show is made up of a number of towering combinations of fountains, lasers, and special effects which include:

20 x 360-degree flowering fountains (30-meter height)

8 x Static Fountains (30-meter height)

2 x Parabolic fountains

6 x Water Screens (13m high and 36m wide)

5 x Fire Flames (10-meter flames)

1 x Major fireball effect (20-meter flame)

1 x centerpiece Geyser (40-meters in height)

9 x Lasers that reach up to 1km distance

The IMAGINE show will also run from Thursday, June 13 until Saturday, June 15 at 7:30pm, 8:00pm, 9:00pm, 10:00pm and 11:00pm.
