Filipinos and expats from all over the UAE flocked to the Dubai Astrodome early Saturday, November 10 for The Color Run presented by Daman. A festival of fun, music, and tons of color, The Color Run Hero Tour lived up to their promise of being the Happiest 5k on the planet!
The morning saw warm up exercises for thousands of participants to help them get their gear on. As the race began, runners saw themselves coated in colors of blue, red, yellow, pink, green, purple and more! Participants also found themselves enjoying at the Foam Zone, as well as other activities around the entire 5k area filled with laughter, enjoyment, and more colorful displays with a party on the dance floor at the end.
Each color zone had Filipinos and other expats taking selfies – regardless if they were running alone or together with their friends, family, colleagues at work, or even with new found friends at the run. By the end of the run, everyone came home with their unicorn medals as well as many fond memories that they captured on their phones and instilled in their hearts and minds forever.
Since its inception in 2012, The Color Run presented by Daman has become a global phenomenon, continuing to innovate the 5k paint race genre each year. The Color Run has been experienced by over 6 million people worldwide in 35+ countries and has donated a staggering $5 million to charity to date.
