In an epic battle between distance and time, pop star Taylor Swift made it to this year’s Super Bowl just in time to share a celebratory kiss with boyfriend Travis Kelce, star player of Kansas City Chiefs, who won their third NFL championship on Sunday.
Swift was recently in Japan for her “The Eras Tour” concert from Feb. 7 to Feb. 10, sparking speculations and calculations regarding whether the pop star would be able to make it to her boyfriend’s championship game on Feb. 11. Thankfully, the planets and the fates, and all the stars aligned for them that night.
Ever since their ‘relationship’ was made public in September, Swift has been seen attending Kelce’s football games, dressed in complete outfits (and friendship bracelets) and showing heartfelt cheers. Every game doubled as a reality love show for the fans and the press, drawing a whole new troop of fans to tune into American football.
The Super Bowl marked Swift’s 13th game that she has attended, and it has once again proved to be her lucky number, with the Chiefs claiming victory.
According to reports, Kelce had a “nightmare start to the game.” He was seen having a “meltdown” on the sidelines directed at Kansas City head coach Andy Reid in an unusual outburst. He was then quickly pulled away by fellow Chiefs player Jerrod McKinnon.
Ultimately, Patrick Mahomes pulled the strings that led them to a nail-biting score of 25 to 22.
