Celebrities paid tribute to the life and works of comedian Mahal. She passed away on Tuesday, August 31 at 46.
Mahal’s sister, Irene Tesorero broke the news that her sister died due to a gastro illness and COVID-19.
Mahal succumbed to death in a Batangas hospital.

Minutes after the announcement of her passing, celebrities shared their condolences and messages for Mahal.
“Maraming salamat sa pagpapasaya sa amin Ate Mahal,” Ken Chan posted.
“I will miss your laugh and your uplifting aura. We love you forever, Mahal,” Benjamin Alves wrote.

“Pumanaw na po si Mahal. Aka noeme tesorero..isang napaka lungkot na Balita [crying emoji] salamat sa pagkakataong makasama at maka trabaho ka. Uwi na kay Lord Mahal,” Rosanna Roces said on her Facebook account.
“Wag po.. wag po.. wag naman sana.. sana hindi totoo. Wag po..” Kiray Celis said.
